If you’re on a path of remembering your truth, like so many women in the world are waking up to right now, then you know what it’s like to live disconnected from it. I have really beautiful news about capacity. For the amount that you can tolerate and endure not being yourself, you have an equal amount of power to expand and birth who you are. The amount of capacity you have for being untrue is the capacity you have for being real. All it takes is practice, heart, and a space that is not afraid of you.
Genuine is a 6 week journey. A potent container to initate the impulse of rebirth. And for us feminine creatures of cycles and mystery, rebirth is always available, in fact we yearn for it - we just have to say goodbye to something in exchange.
This container has come in fast for me to hold, in time with the seasonal pulse of winter to spring. It is the time for this journey.

Genuine is a WEEKLY live program. We begin on February 22nd
Calls are scheduled for Saturdays.
2 - 4 pm ET
Weekly calls are 90 min in length minimum.
They include a transmission of the theme followed by group work and individual coaching.
The registration form asks your time zone and ideal times. Call times may change depending on needs of the group.
It is not possible to accomodate everyone all the time. Please do what you can to shift your schedule to accomodate the calls. I will work with the group to make it as accessible as possible, and need you to work with me too.

Your Commitments for Genuine:

Attend live sessions whenever possible. Actually do the somatic practices. Communicate with me if you need support or clarification. Know that you are signing up to be part of an intimate group experience and you will be asked to show up. Genuine is not something to passively consume. It is not for hiding.

Stay in tune with your needs. Genuine is a space of trauma-informed somatic-based processes, but it is not a therapy space and is not designed to support chronic trauma reactivity. Part of being Genuine is our capacity to hold ourselves, this is something we continue to build. You need a foundation of self-holding to enter Genuine. The material we explore will be asking you to sometimes look at things you haven’t wanted to, or have not had capacity to yet, and this can be uncomfortable. It is all in service to your vitality.

Genuine weaves multi disciplinary approaches to inner transformation and is at her core, an earth and soul led space. I use language like Soul, Desire, Mystery, Feminine, Masculine, Essence, Power, Pussy. I also use language from secular nervous system education lineages. I am committed to the expression of your soul essence more than I am our preference for terms. It is up to you to ride the waves between discernment and surrender, between preference and just letting go into the experience.
Genuine is not be supportive for you if you are currently processing actute trauma.
Genuine is not be supportive for you if you do not have at minimum 2 hours per week for this container.
Genuine is not supportive for you if your fear of being witnessed in a group overshadows your desire to join.
Genuine is a woman who listens to her nature. Genuine is her attitude towards her expansion. She’s not forcing it, she’s trusting the pace and timing. She’s not hiding from it, either. Genuine is her gaze, her walk, her talk.
I’m your guide, Maxine, and I’m not afraid of the shadows. I have fear! But my fear does not stop me from sitting at the edge of the cave, the door, the forest, the ocean, whatever threshold you’d like to imagine, and guiding you in and through. I’ve has chosen to walk a path in life that asks for my heart, over and over again.
As an Embodiment Coach and Somatic Educator, with a background in Yoga, Tantric Arts, and Somatic Experiencing Trauma Therapy, I tend to lean towards my inner mystic. The one who knows herself. The one who sees. And for me, I’ve been given the perfect life lessons over and over, and a nervous system more prone to fawning, and more flight-response dominant, so that I could learn what Truth in my body really feels like. So that I could sit in the truth, not close off, not run away. And so that I could go through initations (did I mention over and over again?) that widen my capacity for being with my real self.
My real self - which just like you, is a multi-fractal expression of my genuine essence.
My experiences in heartbreak and in caregiving have been the biggest areas of alchemy and learning.
I believe that those who have been in a deep Fawn and Fitting In pattern contain a lot of power. It takes a lot of energy to hold yourself back. The capacity I have had for being untrue is the exact match for the capacity I have needed to birth myself. Genuine is about the impulse to birth yourself.

Genuine is an activation. What does this mean?
This program breathes life into a new beginning for you. It means there’s a before you joined Genuine, and and after. It means that things will be met, spoken, revealed, touched, that you cannot go back on. Even so, this doesn’t mean immediate change. Imagine walking along a forest path, pretty absentmindedly. You ventured to the woods because you knew you needed to reconnect and breathe but you’re not really feelin it. All of a sudden something catches the attention of your senses and beckons you to pay attention and make a delibrate choice to step off trail in a desired direction. That moment is Genuine’s medicine. It may take some time before you see why you followed your impulse, before the new path reveals where it’s taking you. But you chose it.
Genuine is for Capacity-Building. What does this mean?
You will learn somatic practices and be guided through processes that support your nervous systems calibration to internal safety. Many of these practices will be very simple. You do not need any special equiptment.
Genuine is for a woman who long for her desires. What does this mean?
When you begin to work with desire, you are asking to become undone. Everything you try to prove you are, or are not, does not matter to the current of desire. Desire is the substance of vitality. Of what leads you into more connection with yourself, others and the life you’re living. If you feel a pull to move with desire, even if it scares you, even if you’ve had a lot to work through, then this container can hold you.
Genuine is held in a field of responsibility and empowerment. What does this mean?
This container does not see you as powerless or need you to be. Genuine is about being responsible for what you can choose. You are prepared to see that some things you have believed are not the whole truth. Genuine will bring compassion to where we feel stuck and limited without buying into stories of powerlessness.
